Waking up hungry

I tend to not be able to eat enough calories during the day, so I wake up hungry during the night. Is it okay to eat during the night then go back to sleep? Nothing big, like an apple or banana?

Hi, definately you should have something to eat, im the same I can control my hunger great during the day but I get so hungry through the night. As long as your not having a huge pizza or something lol I dont think the storys about eating after a certain time have any sinificance. Good luck0

Yes, it's fine as long as you don't get heartburn.
I'd try to manage my calories better during the day to prevent the issue. Maybe scheduling a snack before bed would prevent the problem? Disrupted sleep is bad for your physical and mental health, as well as your weight loss efforts.0 -
I used to have that problem. Sometimes I will have a snack about an hour before I go to bed, like cut up apples with peanut butter or a few boiled egg whites (I don't like the egg yolks). I also find celery and hummus satisfying too.0
