5:2/IF HELP please!!!
So, I started 5:2 again after failing miserably at it last year. I'm pretty sure I failed cos i ate too much on non-fasting days. I decided I would try fasting from 4pm-4pm i.e. 500cals for dinner, breakfast and lunch combined. I also decided I'd set MFP diary to 1600 for non-fasting days. I have pretty much stuck to 1600…

Matcha powder
I have a tub of this in the fridge and try and have some when I remember. Anyone else like it? I am totally sold on the antioxidant benefits of green tea, and fine it boosts a morning smoothie, but the caffeine can be a bit startling and it makes me glow a bit i.e. sweat, especially in the summertime, due to being…

clean eating 'sugar'
Hi all I'm whole heartedly embarking clean eating i.e. full fat, unprocessed real food. Can anyone guide me on sugar. Is brown sugar ok? IIFYM HELP
Totally new to this macro business. My BMR is 1448, my TDEE about 1991, so I'm setting my calories to 1350 for gradual weight loss. I'm 160lbs, so my protein is set to 45%, carbs 30% and fats 25%. So far only 6 days in, carb % been fairly ok to stick to, but fat is way too high and protein hovers around 27%. Am I still…

Flaxseed vs Cod liver oil
Advice please. I started taking flaxseed oil supplements just before my wedding as I read it was good for skin and nails, and heart-protective. I hate the fishy aftertaste of cod liver oil but I know they both have similar benefits. Is taking one better than the other? Or would both be good for sources of omega 3-6-9?
