HELP! I know my diet isn't flawless, but have returned to the gym since November 2013, been eating healthier foods and sporadically counting calories. More core is strong, my arms are toned and but butt and thighs feel great s there's decent muscle on them, but I'm the heaviest weight I've been in my whole life and feel completely disheartened on the scales. My clothes don't look or feel terrible but I wonder if I'm just kidding myself when I look in the mirror...
I wonder if I've been inadvertently bulking i.e. weight training with a calorie surplus. How can I cut???? I'm girl with very little higher knowledge of such things. Need to get my BMI down but don't necessarily want to lose muscle mass. To top it all off, I have an injury which means I can do no high impact exercise for the next 6 weeks.Do I accept a strict calorie deficit to lose weight and deal with loss of conditioning later?
