Biking to work, wow.
I started biking to work about 4 weeks ago. I have biked every day but once because of a thunderstorm. It is about 4 miles each direction, and is VERY hilly. Why doesnt daily calorie intake change with weight loss?
Correct me if I am wrong here... but... A 250 lb person trying to lose 1 pound per week would be able to eat more calories then A 150 lb person trying to lose 1 pound per week. (The 250 lb person has many more lbs to maintain, therefore needing more calories to maintain that weight??) Or is my thinking way off?

Shin splints..
Good morning... Anyone have any good ideas on how to cope with shin splints? They are not usually that bad, until I'm playing basketball... and I usually play twice a week for 2 hours at a time. Would ice help? heating pad? anything!? Thanks you!
