Lower abdomen pain (right side)

Good afternoon.
I played ultimate frisbee last night and now have pain in my lower ab, right where the top of my thigh connects to my groin.
No pain while I'm walking or sitting, but if I do the motion of a "sit up", or have to use my abs basically, it is sore.
The weird thing is, I never get this when I play basketball or run, but after playing ultimate frisbee I do. (It happened last year too)
I'm guessing thats because frisbee involves more stop / go all out sprints, and causes more stress on that area.
Has anyone heard of this before?
(yes I know I can go to the doctor, just looking for opinions)

you might have the beginning of a hernia, or a sore muscle0
