Weight Lifting Routine
Hey guys, so I started heavy lifting back in July, following the SL 5x5 program. I really do enjoy it, although I'm not upping my weight nearly as fast as the instructions tell me to (I like to take it slow). I've added some stuff in that I like and took out exercises that were hard on my elbow (overhead barbell press and…

Critique!
I saw a fellow MFPer doing this and now I want input too! This past week has been my best and most consistent eating in a long, long time. I feel good, I'm back to running, started lifting and my sugar cravings are down considerably. I stopped eating french fries, chips, cake, Panda Express, and a lot of other crap. I…

Does anyone else notice...
being WAY hungrier than normal after giving blood? I feel like all I do is crave hamburgers after I donate. And when I say crave, I mean I can't function without thinking about it. Really hard to study when I just keep picturing a Jumbo Jack dancing on the page. I'm assuming my body is trying to replace what is missing or…

I have an addiction to food. I'll eat when I'm not hungry...to the point of making myself sick. It's like I'm afraid that if I don't eat it now, there'll be no food later! Well, I've been really trying to break this habit for the past few weeks. And yesterday and today are the first time in...a long time!...that I've…

I overate yesterday...
Yesterday, I overate by about 300 calories. I normally eat my exercise calories back...should I skip that just for today in order to balance things out? Just wanted to see what others do in the same situation.

Wow! Great workout!
I consider myself an intermediate to advanced exerciser. I run 20 miles a week plus some strength training. I bought a few new workout dvds to switch things up and break the plateau I've been stuck on...Amy Dixon's Breathless Body is fantastic! It killed me and left me dripping in sweat-like I'd just run 5 miles at 7mph…
