My First Marathon
I am officially signed up for the Soldier Marathon in Columbus, GA 11/10. So freaking nervous! Training is going well and I am way too cheap to forfeit the race fee, so here goes nothing!

I not only fell off the wagon
the durn thing backed up and ran over me! School starts next week so I WILL get back on track. Quite literally, actually, when I do speed workouts! Of course, if the mechanic has bad news about the swagger wagon today, I will be walking and biking a lot more, too. Ugh.

NSV Bikini
I got my bikini in the mail yesterday and our country club pool opened today. I wore it and nobody ran away screaming that I'd burned their retinas with my fatness! I was a bit self conscious about my belly, but since I am a 34DD nobody was looking at that!

At what point were you comfortable donning a bikini?
I've always been a fan of two pieces because I have a long torso. Tankinis were my go to for the last few years, but this year I bought 2 halter top bikinis. I've never been terribly self conscious about my body, but I definitely have more to lose. However, at size 10, I am excited to show off my new suit!

I went to see a friend's band play and his wife loves taking pictures. She posted one of me on Facebook and I must admit I looked pretty durn good. I saw several people that I hadn't seen in a long time and was told about 100 times how great I looked. Yay, me!

Any Campers Out There?
I went camping for the first time 4 years ago when The Boy joined Cub Scouts. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do. We are leaving in about an hour to camp in the mountains tonight. What are your favorite things about camping? Any good recipes for campfires?

Everyone invited but The Boy
One of the moms in my Cub Scout den is hosting an Easter egg hunt and invited all the boys in the den except my son. I am not a big fan of hers anyway because she never comes to any meetings and does things like drop her kid off and tell me I don't know who is picking him up or what time.
