Strength training pain hurts so much
So I am meant to be doing strength training three times a week but I can't even manage one day without being in so much pain... to the point I didn't want to walk. I actually haven't gone back since the first one to do it. I've left two rest days to recover, however, I was think I could maybe do it the day before my Body…

eBooks vs Physical book + book suggestions?
I've never been much of a reader but I want to start making a hobby out of it. I know there is pros and cons and I'm wondering how others make the choice. I love how you can physically see the page progress with a physical book and the fatness feels like you've really accomplished/accomplishing something. However, they…

TDEE question
Hi, I used Scooby's TDEE calculate and it said I have a BMR of 1553 calories. To maintain my weight I'd have to eat 2408 calories and minus 20% is 1926 calories which is a deficit of 482 calories. I decided to do 35% carb, 30% protein and 35% fat. Someone told me if I did this approach that I'd maintain my current weight…

How to eat more calories?
I'm trying to get to 1926 calories after trying to get to 1200 and more recently 1350 calories. I want to do it healthily and not buy eating processed food. I rather it be through wholesome, natural foods. Thanks for your time.

Calorie questions!
Okay, I think I understand but I just want to double check. Apparently my BMR is 1554 calories. Including my exercising and wanting to lose weight I'm mean't to be eating 1918 calories roughly. If I burnt 800 calories that would make it 1118 calories which would make it under my BMR that day. Would I have to eat back those…

Small dog as running partner?
I have a Miniature/Toy Poodle x Shih zu. She has loads of energy as Poodles do. However, I'm worried if she could last long with constant running. She does have short legs after all. I don't want to injure her body either. Do you think she would be fine? How far do you think she could handle? How fast? Thanks for your time.

Running gear?
First off I'm in Australia so any international or Australian retailers will be appreciated. I'm going to be new to running so that's why I'm asking. :) So lets start off with shoes. I currently have the Asics Gel-1170 Women's Running Shoes. I have got blusters from them at least once but that may of been because my socks…

Strength training
How long did it take you to get stronger roughly? I started yesterday and it was so hard on my arms and I was like on 2.5KG (5.5 pounds) by my 2nd set... I'm not even kidding. I'm planning on doing it twice a week since I do other things as well.

To eat or not eat the calories you burn?
So last time I weighed myself my scales recommended I eat a minimum of 1350 calories or so, so I upped it to that from my 1200 calories. After doing a sample meal plan I managed to get to 1,273 calories and that was without exercise. 4 out of 7 days I'll be burning around 400+ calories which means on those days my net will…

Should I upgrade?
Hey guys, First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have no idea where to put it! Anyway, I currently have the old version of the FT7. I may be having issues with it (my heart rate isn't reading my heart rate and I'm not sure if it's because of a band swap up or not) and ended up looking at what else Polar has…

How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?
I'm not pregnant and if I ever am it won't be for at least another 4 years but I was just curious about how much other people have put on due to it. Did you eat healthy or did you let yourself go a bit or even completely?

High in fat diet.
I have my fat set to 40% (53g), my carbs set to 40% (120g) and my protein 20% (60g) for the last few days at least I've been way under my carbs (which I see as a good thing) and above my fat. 99.9% of my diet is raw foods. So lets take tomorrow for instance, so far I have 49% fat, 26% protein and 25% carbs. Is it okay that…

Meals that are low carb and higher in calories.
I recently just changed my carb goal to 100g. I was eating way over 200g a day so adjusting has brought me to under-eating calorie wise which I know isn't healthy. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any meals that are low in carbs but higher in calories. I usually can eat around 1003 calories without going over but I…

Confused about how many calories I should be consuming?
I recently upped my calories to 2086 calories as I am suppose to consume 2336 to maintain my weight. I took 250 off instead of 500 because I have been exercising heaps to make the other 250 for a deficit of 500. I try and eat a net of around 1800 calories day. Have I done this right? I am 20, 5"5', around 170 pounds and I…

Natural sugar taking up most of my sugar limit.
