First Diabetic Thanksgiving
Hi all! This is my first Thanksgiving knowing I am diabetic. How do you handle it? I have modified my recipes and menus, but am still concerned as to how to plan for the day.....I plan on adding a good walk, but am wondering....do I just have a "cheat day" on calories and carbs, and then go back to "being good" after the…

Neurapathy Sufferers...

Will I ever feel satisfied?
I've been on this "diabetes ride" since my diagnosis on Apr. 4. I have RADICALLY changed my diet, and upped the exercise. My glucose is pretty much getting under control. Here is my question, "Will I EVER feel satisfied and not deprived?" I'm keeping my calories under my goal, and all that...but I'm hungry ALL the time!…

Foot Numbness
I was just diagnosed on April 4, but for about the past year I have been troubled with my feet being numb and at night dealing with tingling, and the feeling that I'm occasionally poked with a push pin! Here is my question, is this a permanant thing I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life, OR as I keep my sugars…
