A question for the ladies out there (could be TMI)
Hey all, When I was at a much heavier weight (305lbs), my menstrual cycles were never very regular, which my doctor said was because of the weight. I lost about 20lbs through better portions and very casual exercise and everything seemed to settle into a good pattern for about two years. I threw exercise into the mix and…

What's a non-number goal you have?
Aside from seeing numbers on the scale go down, what is a goal you are excited to accomplish? Mine is getting small enough to get back on a roller coaster! Loved these as a kid but got to the point where being able to ride was an embarrassment when I was too big to know for sure if I would fit and after several rejections…

What to do when your opinions on your progress roller coaster?
Lately I've been having a lot of issues in keeping a steady, positive frame of mind through this journey. I've lost about 50lbs overall (40lbs when MFP got involved) and I know I look much better than I used to. What fitness goal did you reach recently?
Today I did 3.5miles in 60 straight minutes on an elliptical on level 5 resistance and felt like I could have kept going. I am pretty proud of myself!

Who cares, etc' and also my legs are hitting that stage where they are numb but my feet on are fire. I decide I'll go until 45 minutes because that seems like a…

the mental game
I'm struggling with seeing myself as anything more than the 'fat girl' even though I've lost 50lbs and am sticking to my calories and exercise. I was never this hard on myself pre-weight loss. I feel like my personal life has suffered the most...I have started accepting half relationships and feeling like I've devalued…

I'm new...ish. Started @ about 305lbs
I fell off the wagon for awhile because I picked up two jobs and now work about 80 hours a week, so I lost the ability to go to the gym I was going to...but now I am doing a free trial at a 24hr gym which will give me more options. I'm struggling seeing change in my body. In my mind, there's very little difference and I'm…
