Every morning but I only log about once a week.

I was super self conscious when I was at a higher weight. I felt like I didn't know what I was doing...I wore really loose fitting clothing. Kept to myself. People looked at me, but it was more then because I looked like I didn't belong/know what I was doing/had no confidence. Did my bike workout, kept my head down, did…

When I was obese, my mother started talking about how scared she was for me due to health even though I was fully capable of carrying on my normal day-to-day and had no apparent difficulties with health. She had gastric bypass with major complications and was only about 90lbs at this point. Ugh. Currently I get 'the…

I've never been a big breakfast eater and when I forced myself to do it based off old science, I found it actually made me more hungry (so I ate more at lunch) and sometimes even made me feel sick. Now for breakfast, I limit it to coffee and MAYBE a bagel at most. Otherwise I say no thank you. I've still lost 40lbs doing…

Have you tried changing up your routine with a workout that differs from your normal activities?

I really only drink water or coffee....it has been fantastic for my skin, among other things. I always feel much better when I am well hydrated and can tell when I have been slacking. I easily put down about a gallon of water a day.

My schedule is usually workout 2/3 days, rest one day, workout 2/3 days, rest one day...depends. My job is also pretty active (I average around 7,000-10,000 steps just at work alone).

I had that problem too until I really took a look at what I was eating and realized my choices were very poor.

I wouldn't mind more. :) Add me!

Hi fellow MIer! Sometimes it's so hard to stay on the wagon. I am also trying to get back in the swing of things. Just know that doing it at all is the hard part....making the habit comes with time!

Oh yeah, weight loss has helped me in a lot of aspects. Once I started focusing on losing weight/exercise, I was able to see changes here: Physically - -Less back pain due to an old injury -Better endurance -Thinner, which upped my confidence in my social/relationship area -Better nutrition which has made my hair, skin,…

That's why I'm doing the walking/running now. I figure I can keep pushing myself into less walking, more running, which is way harder than what I think the bike is. I think the bike encourages less all-over movement...maybe engaging more of my arms will help.

I used to do the stationary bike but I have recently switched to brisk walking/running on the treadmill, which I am hoping will help kick the plateau phase.

Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down...

I didn't think much about a difference until this thread, so I decided to see what my progress was. I'm kind of in a rut right now...I am feeling like that 305lbs girl even though I know I'm not. I have to say, this helps a little. ^^Probably was at my highest here...305lbs^^ ^^This was last week at about 245lbs^^

I'm in Grand Rapids but originally from Onekama. Anyone can add me. :)

I am easily the biggest person in the gym when I go, and you know what? I don't care because I'm proving to those people right there that I think I am good enough to be just like them and that I won't let judgement from them (which honestly, they probably don't even judge you as you think they do) stop me. If anything, I…

I'm not sure...but honestly I have been asked at least three times by other people this question and they always seem very skeptical. I don't know if it's just the culture around here or what, but it's annoying sometimes. Now I just put on my headphones and generally ignore people.

Trying to get on a rollercoaster and being unable to fasten the belt and put the restraint down all the way, so I had to walk off the platform in front of hundreds of people who saw what happened.

I'm 28 and have lost about 50lbs all together (43 since I joined the site). :) I'm not super chatty but I love giving and being motivated. Anyone can add me if they like.

My biggest wakeup call was when I could no longer ride half the rides at theme parks that I used to. It's so embarrassing to have to struggle to fit and then you can't ride and everyone is watching. It has never left me. I cried for days.

I still have a long way to go. Before: Above 300...Not sure exactly how much at the time of that photo. After: 270. I fell off the wagon for awhile, but hoping to get going again!
