Always overweight
No offense to those who have been thin, gained weight and loss again. Kudos for getting the weight off. I admire anyone who is able to lose the weight. Myself I've always been larger in size. I was born at 10lbs and always remember my childhood as being chunky. There has been times where I've loss around 50lbs, but was…

Gym or Home Gym?
I currently have a membership for a local gym. I was starting to go on a regular basis when I was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma. I took a couple of months off work while going through treatments. Of course going to the gym came to a stop too. Now I'm really having a hard time getting back to the gym. I've been looking…

Feel like giving up and quitting.
Well I've logged calories on here for quite some time now. In fact i think I have about 265 days in a row. My problem is I see my calorie intake goal for the day, but usually end up going over most days. To me 2200 calories a day seems a little low and I'm even happy with hitting 2500 calories a day, but I still go over.…

Incorrect nutrition information
Lately when logging my food I've been noticing incorrect nutritional information. The other day I had to update just about all the numbers before adding to my meals. I had went to Harvey's ( I know bad for me). When I checked the database I found most of what I was looking for and some even had 3 or 4 confirmed entries.…

Pact App with My Fitness Pal
Just wondering how many are using this Pact App I see promoted on here. How you are able to link it with My Fitness Pal, make a pact and earn rewards for keeping it. It sounds like you may have to bet money and then if you don't keep your pact you lose out. A little like the one Jillian Michaels was running. Where everyone…

How to stop falling off the wagon?
Maybe this has been posted on here before, but since I don't come to the forums often I'm not aware of it. Mostly I use my app on my phone to log my calories. But I was wondering who else has felt the way I have and how they've over come it. I've been big all my life. Growing up I was typically over weight. I usually would…

How to tell Calories burned when using weights?
I noticed that when logging my strength training that it doesn't show the calories burned like it does for cardiovascular exercise. Why is this? Is there a way to tell how much you burned for each weight exercise done?

What to do to get focused?
I've been over weight all my life. I don't ever recall being thin. There's been times when I was at a lower weight and felt better about myself, but never thin. Plus over time I always seem to gain the weight back and then some. In 2006 I was up to 318 lbs, and managed to get down to 270 lbs. My Mother passed away at the…

New From Canada
Hi everyone, Well I have been large all my life. My parents believe in feeding you well, and making sure you didn't leave the table hungry. Of course when I was a child there was not so much talk of nutrition and weight loss like there is today. I was at one point 318 lbs. That was around 2006. It was then I decided to…
