Low Sodium Diet
My husband spent the night in the hospital with blood pressure issues and has been told he has to eat a low sodium diet (which is very hard for him). Does anyone have suggestions for herbs and spices to use in place of salt?

Fitbit
I am not just getting started with my MyFitnessPal. I have been using it since July of 2012 and am currently on maintainence. I am, however new to Fitbit. I just got mine yesterday. I tracked my sleep last night and when I logged in to Fitbit it says: awake 8 minutes (2X) and restless 59 minutes (25X). My question is what…

Stopping Before Goal Is Reached
I have not reached the weight loss goal that I set for myself a year ago when I joined MFP but yesterday, I set my calories for maintainance. I'm happy with the way I look and feel and I think I am done. My question is has anyone else decided to stop losing before you thought you would? I'm just curious.

Gall Bladder
I have had some gall bladder attacks over the past few months. I've been to the doctor and he told me that it is common with weight loss. I'm just curious. Has anyone else had gall bladder problems since losing a significant amount of weight?

NSV-Snow Day
We had snow where I live yesterday afternoon. We don't get a lot of snow around here so it was a really big deal to my 8 year old son. Even after a very active morning, I still had the energy to go outside for a snowball fight with my child. It was great to be able to do that with him and and see it as fun and not as a…

NSV- 2 In One Week
I began trying to lose weight in the first week of July. I lost 6 lbs. before finding MFP and MFP has been helping me lose slowly but surely ever since. When I posted my goals on here, one of them was to be able to wear my wedding ring again. I haven't been able to wear it since I was pregnant with my 8 1/2 year old. Well…

Thank You!
I have signed into MFP for 85 days in a row. I haven't missed a day since I joined. I am down 19.8 pounds since I began on here and 25 pounds since I began trying to lose weight at the beginning of July when I joined a local gym. I still have a long way to go, but I truely believe that MFP works. I haven't been able to…

3 Week Headache
Hi everyone. This has absolutey nothing to do with weight loss but I am getting desperate. My 17 year old daughter has had a headache for three weeks. We have been to the emergency room twice, to see her regular doctor three times, to the neurologist, had sinuses x-rayed, blood work done, a CT scan, a sleep-deprived EEG,…

Reconsidering 1200 Calories
After reading several posts from so many different people, I am seriously considering raising my calorie intake from the 1200 reccomended for me on MFP to my BMR of 1420. I really want to try this but am terrified that I will gain weight. Any thoughts?

1200 Calories A Day
MFP has me at 1200 calories a day. When I used the BMI calculator under tools, my BMI is 1420. I've been staying close to 1200 and have been losing but I have seen posted on here several times that you should eat what you BMI is. Which is the correct way? Is it really unhealthy to live on 1200 calories a day?

I'm confused
MFP says I should have 1200 calories plus exercise calories each day. I have seen several people post about TDEE so I went to a site that had a TDEE calculator and my TDEE is 2115. My question is how does the TDEE thing work? Should I stick to the 1200 calories or just try to keep calories below my TDEE? I am 46 years old,…

"Let them eat cake"
I took my little boy to a birthday party today. When it came time for cake and ice cream, I was asked if wanted some. For the first time ever I said no thank you to cake and ice cream. I am feeling so good right now.
