Hi all, I have come to the sudden realisation that I can't just keep eating myself happy and need to make a long term commitment to myself to become healthy. I'm currently in the process of making some lifestyle changes and would really like some active MFP buddies to keep me motivated along my weight loss journey. :smile:

Why do diet soda/softdrinks contain sodium?
Puzzles me as to why it contains sodium! I know that sodium exacerbates thirst, but does anyone know why it is in there?

I like my weight loss measured in lbs rather than kgs...
