Fitbit, where do you wear it?
I have a Fitbit Zip and I've been wearing it tucked in my bra. I tried wearing it on my hip but it drives me nuts if my hand keeps hitting it. Wear do you wear yours and do you feel one place is more accurate than another? Also I've been thinking about upgrading to a Flex or the new Force but do they have to be worn on…

Help a newbie
I've been experiencing some intestinal issues for a while now and my doctor is less than helpful. He's testing me for colon cancer, ovarian cancer, etc but doesn't really listen to what I'm telling him. I thought some of you might be able to give me some of your history and help me out. I'm lactose intolerant and have been…

Rice cake, no fiber?
Hubby bought Quaker Cracker Jack rice cakes. That's his effort at eating better! Anyway I was surprised that the nutrition label shows 0 g of fiber. Wouldn't you think a rice cake would have some fiber to it? Side note: For 60 calories they actually taste pretty good.

Pee question
If I drink what's even considered a normal amount I'm in the bathroom constantly. What do you think?
http://ca.shine.yahoo.com/blogs/healthy-living/does-less-housework-really-equal-larger-waistline-192700982.html Actually makes sense to me. When I was a kid my mom did laundry with an old wringer washer then dragged baskets up the stairs and outside to the clothes line, gathered it all up again later and stood at an…

Definition of Sedentary
Seems like there's a lot of misinformation about what choosing sedentary as your activity level means. A lot of people equate it to someone who lays in bed all day or rarely moves which would be closer to your BMR. Being sedentary only means that you work a desk job instead of doing more intense physical activity for 8…

The endless search.....
There seems to be a never ending search on these forums for more burned calories to log. What is the obsession with the endless search for more to eat? Did anyone gain weight by eating too little? Did you worry about every move you made before you started logging? Is there an assumption that if you move a little more today…

Obesity bigger killer than starvation
(CNN) -- Obesity is a bigger health crisis globally than hunger, and the leading cause of disabilities around the world, according to a new report published Thursday in the British medical journal The Lancet. Nearly 500 researchers from 50 countries compared health data from 1990 through 2010 for the Global Burden of…

Excessive water consumption bad for environment
Just doing some figuring here and for all those who drink a lot water and say they pee every 30 minutes. That's, at a minimum, 24 trips a day to the washroom. Now the average toilet requires 3.5 gallons of water to flush so those 24 trips are requiring 84 gallons of water a day to be flushed. So you consume a gallon of…

Lose It Leaver
I've been using Lose It for 2 years now, lost the 20 lbs I needed gone and have been maintaining by logging daily for over a year now. Lose It decided to upgrade some users to a Premium level for free based on their activity and time of use. Apparently I didn't qualify for that even though they gave it to a lot of others…
