HRMs and heavy packs
I have been wondering if the weight that is entered on your HRM needs to be adjusted for a heavy pack you are carrying, so it can more accurately calculate calories burned. Does the HRM just use your actual heartrate, or does it need to know you are 30# heavier!? Anybody have thoughts on this?

Crystal Light, 8 cups a day- is it bad?
I find it hard to drink 8 cups of water a day, but flavored with Crystal Light or some such brand it is easy. I need somebody to tell me if it is bad drinking 2 quarts of Crystal Light a day. I hope somebody can give me the hard facts, if there are any.

Not looking forward to temptations as Christmas approaches
When it gets dark early and its too cold to do things outside, it is way too easy to overeat and avoid exercise! Anyone have any tips?:frown:
