When it gets dark early and its too cold to do things outside, it is way too easy to overeat and avoid exercise! Anyone have any tips?:frown:

If you are really worried about being able to control yourself, I would suggest not bringing the "bad" stuff into the house, as little of it as possible. Have lots of healthy snacks available. Do a little web searching or on the boards here for some yummy, low cal holiday treats that you can make. When it's cold/dark outside, you can always do squats, lunges, pushups, situps, etc at home.
Good luck! Be strong! Enjoy some treats that you love, just try to keep it under control! That's all i do!0 -
I am feeling the laziness creeping in. It's not that I don't want to exercise, it's that I don't like doing it in the dark! It feels so late when I get out of work. I try to stop at the gym on the way home instead of having to go home and then go back out. I found out that if I go home first, I rarely will get motivated to leave my house. My butt will be on that couch all night. So I take my gym clothes to work every day and I make myself stop at the gym. I sign up for classes so that I feel accountable. If you're not a gym member, then I guess just try to do some strength stuff at home. Jump rope if there's room. That's a good cardio workout and it takes up relatively little space.0
