Difference in calories for raw vs roasted almonds?
Why does 1tbs of raw almonds sliced have way more cals than 1tbs roasted sliced almonds according to the database? Raw has 190 cals in 1 tbs and roasted has 40! I am using trader joes brand. I shoulda just looked at the label but was in a rush this AM.

How many calories are you aiming to burn a day?
Just curious how many everyone is aiming to burn daily for weight loss. I have been trying to do an hour every day. Usually I will do all 5miles of Leslie Sansones walks w/resistance band. Or some times 3miles and some weight loss yoga or pilates or some ab work with a Crunch dvd. I usually burn btwn 300 and 600cals…

I tried Zumba yesterday...Fail!
I am sooo uncoordinated and they move so fast! I did sweat however, probably from moving/flapping/kicking every part of my body while trying to copy them lol

Is TurboJam pretty much the same as TaeBo?
I am looking at the previews for turbojam and a lot the moves look just like my Billy Blanks TaeBo tapes. I don't need turbojam if I have those taebo tapes do I?

Can toning shoes be used for aerobics/light jogging?
I just bought some super comfortable New Balance 850 Truebalance shoes yesterday. I tried them on before I knew they were toning shoes and found the comfort amazing. Anyway I bought them, but the insert says use only for walking. I am wondering if its just so they can avoid lawsuits or something.…

I am so upset..I dont think I can do 30DS anymore :(
I feel like such a failure..like I am destined to be fat. My knees just hurt too much..I put on crosstrainers..didn't help..but this time I canbarely do the jumping jacks because it hurts..and when I was done the bottom of my feet felt strange and tinglly so I had to stop the dvd..now I am here..I really loved the results…

Leslie Sansone doesnt get my heart pumping, still effectivw?
Is it still effective? I did mile 1,2,3 yesterday of walk it off and tone it up w/resistance band for the first time yesterday. Is this maybe just one of her easier workouts? I was planning on doing all 5milesthe but ran outta time. I don't have a HRM, but I didn't feel winded at all.

How do you push yourself to exercise when its so hot?
Its about 93 degrees today in So.Cal -___- I hate the heat/being hot/sweating lol. I am planning to do 30ds later..but there's not a/c in my living room..I know just suck it up.

Can't decide btwn JM's BFBM or Leslie S's walking dvds
I am looking for an additional workout to 30 day shred since I feel like I can do more! I am still on level 1 but moving on to level 2 any day now. Walking dvd sounds kinder to my knees..but the more intense calorie burn from BFBM is calling my name..help me decide!
