Your take on calories posted by restaurants?
What do you guys think about the calories posted on menus and such? For example I order the pasta primavera in a tin pan (not bread bowl) and the online nutrition guide shows the whole thing as 540 calories. And I’m looking at all this penne pasta in a cream sauce and I’m just thinking how?? Am I fooling myself here??

Eating dinner before or after a workout
Hey folks, hoping for some advice on when to eat dinner if I work out in the evening. I tend to eat the most at dinner, and I usually get out of work at 5 and feel ravenous so I eat right away. So wasn't sure if I should have a preworkout snack and eat my dinner after I work out or vice versa? I plan on trying to do cardio…

Appetite Increase After Getting Nexplanon As Birth Control
Anyone else notice a huge increase in appetite after using birth control? I went from 1200 calories comfortably to 1500 and almost always voracious. I understand now why woman gain weight after using them. Does it eventually subside? I've had it in for about 3 weeks now.

Starting a loose vegan diet, having trouble with nutrition
I'm eating loosely as a vegan, but with eggs and occasionally seafood, as an experiment. I feel good, but keep coming up short on calcium, iron and protein. Any suggestions? My calorie limit is 1560 but I usually hang out between 1250-1400

Umm still the same pants size?
So I've been doing this on and off since last november, and have lost 34 pounds. Woohoo! But trying on my pants from last winter, and they fit just fine. what. why. how. who. what. when. Anyone else having this problem? I always see commercial of people who have lost 30 pounds and went down like 8 pants size. What a bummer.

You get extra calories by working out??
Ok I'm kinda confused about the calories you're expected to eat, and the calories you get when you work out. A I suppose to eat the extra calories if I work out? If I don't am I under my calorie limit? Why would myfitnesspal give us extra calories to eat?
