From Dominoes! Sorry I meant to say

When I was vegan I ate a lot of broccoli and peas as I found they had a lot of protein!

Omlettes can be made in a mug in the microwave. There are actually cook books out now for college students focused solely on microwaveable meals in mugs. I'd suggest you check it out! I'd also suggest getting a rotisserie chicken if your fridge is big enough. Potatoes or sweet potatoes are microwaveable, and go with just…

Something to snack on prior to your lunch? I wouldn't prep a meal. Maybe a protein bar or shake? I love prepackaged food, like hummus snack packs or prepeeled hard boiled eggs.

I should've mentioned, i plan on being at the gym around 5:30, if I wait too long I won't have the motivation to leave my nice warm apartment. So maybe a small snack? What do people normally eat as a pre workout?

I would suggest switching from levothroxine to Synthroid. Our doctor would say constantly that there was no difference and it wouldn't help if you switched. My sister switched anyways and lost about 15 pounds in a year without doing anything extra. When she saw the doc for her yearly visit his response was huh must've been…

I found that by avoiding processed food I could eat more, and still come in under calorie. I wouldn't say bake your own bread but I like to make my own baked beans for example. And I can eat way more with less sugar and sodium, and at a lower calorie count.

Thanks! Yeah I've also tried to increase my water intake, I drink about 93 ounces currently I may try a gallon.

OP, you should watch Forks Over Knives it's a documentary on Netflix it's very interesting.

Wow some aggression here lol. I don't follow his 'way of eating' I didn't realize that was a thing. But I do love his soups!! He has a ton of different soups and they are all cheap and amazing. I hear them up with the keurig at work!

Soy sauce! Thank god for low sodium soy sauce.

I personally can't recommend Pinterest enough it's amazing. Buy some random spices like cumin and curry and dehydrated herbs and then search recipes with those. Try one new recipe a week and may leftovers. Search vegan recipes if you want to try carbs but are afraid of extra calories or fat. Also, put peanuts in…

I try to include as much protein as possible in my meals so one of my favorites is an Asian broccoli salad. It's edamame, broccoli, green onion and peanuts in a peanut sauce. The sauce is your standard sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger and garlic, with 1/4 peanut butter.

I would also really suggest using pinterest. Take the time to build your spice rack and find things that you really like and are healthy, and pin them to a specific board. It's helped me immensely. When it's time to go grocery shopping I pick 4-6 recipes and write down the ingredients I need. At first it was expensive but…

I'd suggest a lunch box with a frozen water bottle inside! We never had fridges or microwaves at school either. What did you pack for lunches for school and how did you keep them cold? I tend to aim for 5 small meals a day and I agree with everyone that enough water makes a big difference. I find too that I have to snack…

You can tell them how many pumps you want of any syrup! If you don't like the sugar free syrups try one pump of sugar free and one of full fat. Also, they have cocoa powder and cinnamon on their condiments stand. I learned to like coffee on a tall hit black with cinnamon.

I really love Annie's chocolate graham bunnies!! I usually eat them with an ounce of peanuts and it's killer.

How about horrible serving sizes? I used to make an entire box of Kraft Mac and cheese and eat the whole thing to myself, often with chicken or veggies thrown in. Before I started using a food scale, the amount of pasta or chips I thought was one serving were way off! I stopped eating meat and dairy, but I'm not horrified…

Hey thanks for all the helpful information! Feel free to continue the conversation for everyone's benefit. It's clearly gotten a bit bigger than my initial question and I encourage the discussion.
-
Thanks everyone! Sorry for my misuse of the word, I thought it would be easier than getting specific but that's clearly not the case. I'm aware of what a vegan actually is, and was looking for foods I wasn't familiar with to supplement my diet. Thanks for all the great info!

Molasses ok that's interesting I'll definitely have to try to use that.
-
Thanks this is actually really helpful! I'll definitely adjust my grocery list.
-
Ok great, legumes I'll have to look them up. I'll look up the unnatural vegan too, sounds interesting. Thanks!
-
I just thought it was easier then saying all that ^^

What?

K not really the help I was looking for but cool

I'm curious about a raw vegan diet. You don't cook anything? No pasta? What about bread or potatoes?

I'm not eating any dairy, so I'm not sure what to call myself
