If you follow MFP directions explicitly, logging precisely, over a controlled time period, how accurate are the provided weight loss predictions. It would be nice to hear some anecdotal testimony.

Does any one know how accurate the Fitbit 2 is in giving calorie burn over a 24 hour period. Especially, accuracy while brisk walking. Can it be relied on to provide a true calorie deficit after subtracting caloric intake? I wear it 24 hours minus shower time.
Let's agree that it takes a 3500 calorie deficit to loose 1 pound of body weight. Let's suppose that a body, because of an excess deficit period, readjusted into a starvation mode with a slowed metabolism. How would the 3500 calculation change? Would it need to be refigured to 4500 or 5500 to shed a pound? Or, would it…
