What are your thoughts about using hemp hearts in your diet?

I think they add some nice crunch to my oatmeal, along with some healthy fats and a bit of protein. I like 'em.
That said, no food has magic, and how nutritiously valuable they are depends on the context of your eating, and whether you enjoy them or not.
If you'd benefit from the nutrients they have - if they fill in some useful things you're short on - plus you have the calories for them and they taste good to you, they're a good food. If they don't bring you any needful benefits, i.e., you're more short on nutrients they don't deliver, or if you don't like them, they're not a good food.
Of course, that previous paragraph's true of any food, as long as it isn't poisonous, allergenic, or contraindicated by your medical conditions or medications.

They're really good for blending up to make creamy salad dressings so I am on the "pro" side of including them in *my* diet.0

I saw a recipe for "tuna salad" made with garbanzos that called for chia OR hemp hearts. I don't mind chia but unsoaked they mean a post lunch flossing is probably required lol. I'd try them for a new kind of add-in.0
