Sedentary or lightly active?
I'm not sure what to choose as my activity level. I used to use sedentary as I have a desk job, but I'm more active than I used to be and I now average about 12000 steps per day, up from about 5000 before. Any advice?

Tell me yoga gets easier.
I started doing some simple yoga exercises found on Youtube, and then bought Yoga for Dummies. I got halfway through and just couldn't move any more. It is so hard! I went swimming for the first time in a really long time last night. I was terrible. It took me an hour to do 1km, or about 2 minutes per length of the 33m pool. My technique is just awful. Eating after a hike
So here's my problem. On a Saturday I usually go out for a hike - 2 hours on a short day, maybe up to 4 on a long day. Simple exercise question
Does MFP take into account your BMR when calculating exercise calories? I already cut them in half as I know the estimate is a bit high, but say I swim for an hour, do I also need to take off another 62 calories as that's what I would burn in an hour just sitting still? Thanks!
