Does MFP take into account your BMR when calculating exercise calories? I already cut them in half as I know the estimate is a bit high, but say I swim for an hour, do I also need to take off another 62 calories as that's what I would burn in an hour just sitting still?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes you'll need to remove them if you want to get that fussy. MFP calorie burn numbers are so inaccurate that it really won't make a difference. That's the reason it isn't a good idea to eat all your exercise calories back to start with. A HRM will give you a much better idea of what you're really burning.0

Thought as much - thanks! I'm hoping to be able to get a HRM next month, after payday.0
