Knee Injury post Jillian Michaels 30 Day Burn
So once I started phase 1 of the 30 Day Burn I could barely do the jumping jacks and jump rope, so I just sorta hopped without my feet leaving the floor, thankful she wasn't actually in my living room. But I gradually started to get a few jacks in and a few jump ropes in and now my right knee - never had knee problems…

HRM readings are lowering
So, as the title suggests, my HRM readings are lowering. It started doing this a few days ago after making no changes to it, but has been consistently kept me in the 100's cals burned with a HR between 118 -126 when I've seen higher numbers before. For example, today I did a cardio workout for 30 minutes that last time I…

How long does it take
Let's try this again without an example of pizza so people aren't confused by an example: I just want to know how long it takes for the body to register calories once consumed.

The calorie trail
How long does it take, lets say, 300 calories from a piece of pizza to register with your body and that you've overeaten by having it? Does it show up on the scale the next day? In two or three? Does anyone know?

My Calves Hurt
Every time I start the 30 Day Shred, something happens to me after jumping jacks: my calves lock up and I can't jump rope. I stretch the crap outta my calves, but obviously not enough. I do calf exercises, then stretch them out, I stretch them out after cardio, I stretch them during yoga. I hold my stretches for quite a…

Belly Flap
When I do jumping jacks or anything that requires jumping, I hate HATE feeling my belly jiggle and jostle so I avoid exercise programs with a lot of jumping around. The waist band of my work out pants falls below my belly and it's just plain disgusting. Does anyone else have this issue? I found my solution. A bathing suit.…

Are these lunges correct?
Nevermind my balance issues, when performing a lunge and "focusing on your quad" which quad am I supposed to be focused on? I always feel it in the leg that's back, but I think it's supposed to be the forward quad. If this is the case, then my form needs major help. What say you?

1200 Calories
For those of us using the 1200 calorie model provided my MFP, do you plan to stick with that after you reach your goal? Or gradually up your calories to what is required for the weight you are? If you're going to increase your calories, are you afraid you will start gaining weight or that it will all even out in the end?

Weight Loss Surgery and Low Calorie Intake
From my understanding, people who have one of the WLS's can only eat like 800 cals a day (maybe that's just in the beginning?) How does their body not go into starvation mode and while drop weight like it's hot? I know people aren't supposed to eat less than 1200 calories, but somehow they get away with it. Does anyone…

Eating Exercise Calories
If we're supposed to eat the calories we burned after exercising, why bother exercising? Why not just eat your daily allotted calories? I'm not looking to get out of working out - I love it, it just strikes me as odd.

I can't find milk in ounces
I'm looking for a selection of fat free milk in the database that's in ounces, not just "1 cup". I've looked through a ton of milk selections, but can't find one. Does anyone know of one?

Not sure how many calories you burned?

Too much exercise?
I have been netting under 1200 because due to my workouts and I'm just not hungry to make up the calories. I don't like the idea of eating fatty foods to make up the difference. I don't want to get used to them, then have to stop! lol Maybe a protein shake, but that won't make up for, say, a 500 calorie deficit. Hell,…

New here, got a numbers question
Hi, I'm Hillary. :) I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and glad to be here. Now, here's my question: On "MY HOME" page my goal is set as 1210, but on my "FOOD" page, my goal is 1666 (oooh! Evil calories! lol). I'm 5'7", 37 and weigh 230lbs 1666 sounds like the more reasonable number, so why would the other, lower, number…
