Sweating at the gym

I typically pack my lunch every day for work. I am sooo bored with sanwiches and salads. So, yesterday I wore my hrm to work, just curious about how many calories I burn durring the day. When I got home I took it off, but left it running. When I took it off it said I burned about 600 calories. When I looked at it this morning after not wearing it all nigjt it said I had burned almost 2000 calories, but I wasnt…

So confused!!!
I just alternated walking 3.5 and jogging 5.0 for 30 minutes on my treadmill. My heart rate monitor says I burned 450 calories, my treadmill says 300 calories!? Which one is right??
