Polar ft4 heart rate monitor users...
I got my polar ft4 and LOVE it. I know there are a lot of topics about this, but I read through and couldn't find the answer I was looking for. So, I have it all set up. Does it only record info in training mode? I bought it at the gym and the woman said (while wearing the same model) that she uses it to track all day…

Does running get easier?
Hey all. As some of you may know, I am doing the c25k program and loving it! I got off the treadmill and completed a run on the track today and it was DIFFICULT. So much so that I went from week 3 back to week 2 and I don't regret it. I'm going to just keep going from there. That said, there is nothing like the…

so frustrated
So I had a "cheat day" yesterday, my family and I went out to dinner as an early valentines day thing. No big deal, but we had food catered in at work today (I work in a call center, and we have this done pretty often and it always kills me!) I can't seem to keep it together when they cater. c25k issues - cold weather running!
So I started c25k and started running. I loved it and made it three weeks in, and even signed up for a 5k in mid april. What is a safe temperature to…

Hey Folks, I did my first day of c25k today and I really enjoyed it. It's unbelievable how much I pushed myself! But I did on treadmill so it wouldn't link to MFP. I added the exercise manually and MFP told me I burned over 600 calories. WHAT! I know that MFP estimates high, and I don't plan on eating them back in total,…

Burning out/resting day
Hi all, So last year I got on the fitness train and ate healthy, counted in/out, etc. I worked out every day, very rarely rested. I did kettlebells for 20-40 minutes a day and then cardio again over my lunch, and alternated upper and lower lifting daily. I felt AMAZING... Until I hit a brick wall. I went too hard and…

Excited to be back
I have been doing weight watchers, and honestly, I don't think it's for me. So I'm going to come back here and take control of my life rather than follow "the plan." The hubs and I want another baby, and I need to get healthy before I try and grow a human!! I'm hoping to find some great support here.

Need to stay consistent!
I'm hoping that using these forums will help me stay committed. I seem to fizzle out as soon as I have a little loss. How do you guys stay consistently committed?
