Pasta recipe calculation
I have just followed a recipe for a pasta casserole. I have weighed everything together and then divided the total weight by the number of servings to get how much each serving should weigh. My question is, when I put the ingredients in the recipe builder, should I be putting in the pasta amount dry or cooked? The recipe…

SL two days in a row?
I was planning on doing workout A today, then again on Wednesday and Friday. I just had something come up and no will not be able to make it tonight. Is it ok to do my workout on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday as I can't make it Monday? Is no rest day between lifting days that bad? If that's really not such a good idea,…

Finally Started
So I finally went to the gym today solely to start the SL 5x5 program. It probably isn't the best time to start because I won't be able to make it to the gym next week since I have to go out of town for work BUT, I think I can now do this on my own! I got my boyfriend to come with me because one of the things that was…

Feeling Ripped Off - Update
Hi everyone, Last week I posted about how I felt ripped off meeting with a Personal Trainer at the gym I joined and the only thing he was really going to get me started on was a routine based on their 20 minute machine circuit. After this, and me explaining that it wasn't what I was interested in doing, he spoke to his…

Feeling Ripped Off
So I finally mustered the courage to join a gym so I could start the stronglifts program as I've read so many positive things about it. This wasn't an easy decision for me by any means since I have access to a gym at work although it doesn't have barbells or racks. It's reasonably equipped with everything else though.…

New and Nervous
Hi, I've been on MFP for almost a year now and have lost pretty much all the weight I had planned (actually a few more than initially planned). I have been reading over and over again in the forums about the success of women who lift heavy and have gotten the body they wanted. After my weight loss, I still am not overly…

Really Really need some advice
I am at my goal weight but really want to reduce my BF%. For a while I was doing some of fitness blender's strength and fat loss routines with weights and did quite enjoy them. I certainly felt I was "working" out when doing them. After reading tons of posts on MFP, I thought I should try to lift heavier at home to get a…

MYTH: Constant Grazing Boosts Your Metabolism
This is an article I just read. While I'm at work at a desk job, I've taken to always bringing a container full of raw vegetables that I can munch on at any time as well as a piece of fruit or two. Some days I eat them and other days not so much. Can that be a bad thing? Opinions?…

Reduce Body Fat
Hi, I'm pretty much at my UGW but am looking to reduce my body fat percentage. I have been alternating the past few weeks between some different Fitness Blender Strength and fat loss routines. I wanted to know what the opinion is if these routines can have good results for reducing body fat or if I should really start…

Customizing my MFP setting
I'm just looking for a little advise. If I set my goals to be based on my tdee less a percentage and log exercise as 1 calorie (if I want to log it at all) should I put my exercise goal to 0 days/hours a week or does it matter? Thanks for any help.
