Sugar Alcohols???
I use Kroger brand "sugar free" syrup. When I plugged it into to my diary, it gives me 9 grams of sugar per serving. After double checking the lable, I saw that the syrup contains sugar alcohol, but not sugar. Should I count sugar alcohol as straight up sugar in my diary? Drain the fat question
I buy 93/7 ground turkey, which contains about 8 grams of fat. Is that before or after I brown the meat and drain it? If it is before, and I do drain the fat...then shouldn't it be nearly fat free?
