I can't help it... This blows me away!
This is old, but whenever I see it, it blows me away to think just how 'fragile' and 'insignificant' we are in the Universe... All to scale... Our 'home' planets... Other planets in our Solar System... Looking pretty 'insignificant' already huh? Our planets in comparison to our Sun... Our Sun in comparison to other large…

Know your enemy (or at least one of them...)
The Pun*ture fairy. What is it? It is a sprite which attacks cyclists with the sole intention of ruining a ride and causing annoyance and inconvenience. There are many types of Pun*ture fairy. After I have been afflicted by their attentions I tend to refer to them all by the anagram of their name; they really are “Pure…

Let's discuss 'feeding' on long rides...
I'm predominantly a 'road cyclist' & some rides involve long distances (for me); 100km+ 9 times out of 10 whenever I ride I don't take any food whatsoever; normally I'll take a 750ml bottle of water with Zero High 5 tablet in it, which obviously has an adverse effect on my performance as the ride rolls on... What is your…

Do you 'Kinomap?'
The Kinomap site allows you to post videos of your rides/runs (or indeed whatever?!) and apply the GPS data, so you can see where you ride/run, the terrain and how quickly etc. TheBigYin (TBY) pointed me in the direction of this site... I was just wondering if anyone else uses it, that's all? Here's my specific 'page'…

Can someone please explain the rational for this bike?
Right... Have a look at this: http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/CBOOFATX52/on_one_fatty_fat_bike Explain why would you buy a bike like this and why? Mountain biking guru-ness guidance required...

Glove recommendation for you...
My winter gloves were looking a little 'worse for wear', so I was on the hunt for a new pair... Anyway, after an age looking high and low at all the different variants; SealSkins et al I found an interesting solution. Neoprene. They make over-shoes out of it, they make wetsuits out of it, so it must be 'good for purpose'…

CycleMeter iPhone App
I've just started cycling to and from work (approx 24+ miles a day.) I've downloaded the 'CycleMeter' App (http://www.abvio.com/cyclemeter/) for my iPhone to track my progress (UK Price £2.99.) Kudos on Strava?
What do you give Kudos for on Strava? Personally I don't give Kudos for rides under 20km and I don't give Kudos for running (as it isn't something I do...) Just wondered what made you click the Kudos button?

Recommend me a CO2 pump...
I'm trying to downsize the amount of 'crap' I carry with me when I ride, so rather than riding with a hand pump, I'm looking at buying a CO2 pump & cartridges. Does anyone have one that they would recommend (& why?) Thanks in advance
