I think this and the 'Cycling Challenges' group need a bit of a reboot don't they; they seem to have gone a bit cold... Can we start using them to engage potential new cyclists again do you think or are they beyond fixing now?

Swapping cable disc calipers for hydraulic - big job?
The Avid BB5 cable operated brakes on my CX bike are awful. I'd really like to upgrade to hydraulic calipers. Is it a difficult/expensive exercise? My CX bike is running SRAM Apex kit, so I'd be looking at new levers, calipers & brake lines (I'm assuming?) What are your thoughts?

Bomb-proof 700c wheels for my old commuter?

Road tubeless - What kit do I need?
I've recently purchased a set of Dura-Ace C24's which I am intending to run tubeless. What kit do I need; I've been looking at the Stan's No Tube kits. I'm assuming the CX kit would suffice? Any recommendation on tyres; I'm a Schwalbe fan, so have been looking at the Schwalbe One Pro's? Thanks in anticipation ;)

Cautionary tale - All may not be as it seems...
I ordered an 'Extended Battery Replacement' for my Garmin 810... Original battery: 3.7v, 1100mAh New 'Extended' battery: 3.7v, 1000mAh Extended? I think not! The last time I checked, a 1100mAh was a larger capacity than a 1000mAh... This battery is going back to Amazon for a full refund!

I'm seriously contemplating replacing the gear & brake cables on my Boardman roadie after several years of abuse. The question is, what brand of replacements would you recommend and why? Strava - Pro's taking KOM/QOM's - Discuss...
On Strava I follow a couple of Pro riders... Is it fair or just that they be allowed to take KOM/QOM's etc. or should that only be allowed by amateurs (of which there are some extremely fit and able riders out there)? Yes, we can all look in 'wonder' at how quickly they can ascend of descend climbs etc., but, at the end of…
