I'd like to add some friends in the 55 and older age groups that have similar goals as mine...lose a few pounds, get into better shape and have a more active lifestyle.
I started at around age 18 and am still actively working out at age 62.
If you work out at a fitness center do you notice a lot more people there trying to live out their New Years resolution to get in shape? Seems like the same thing happens every year.
This is my second time on MFP. It really helped me lose some weight last time. Now after a few months of too much eating and too much drinking I'm on a mission to get back in shape. If you would like to join me in this journey I'd be honored to be a friend.
How do all of you track what you eat when you go to dinner at a friends home? Often the home recipe dinners are not something I can find here. Do you just find something that best describes what you were served and go with it?
I just found myfitnesspal and have been using it for about a week now. It's helped me understand how much I'm really consuming each day. Just wanted to say hi to others here.
