Running snowshoes
Does anyone here run with snowshoes? My wife bought me a pair of Dion 121's for Christmas and I tried them out today. Liked it a lot. Anyone have any experience?

Run2Respond Relay www.run2respond.com
Not sure if this is the place for this. If it's deleted I'll understand. The baton will be carried by hand non-stop from the departure in Maine to arrival in California. Day and night. Through sun and storms. An incredible journey for an incredible cause. I will be running 10.7 miles from the Greenland, NH Fire Department…

NSV
Big NSV: I have been a 34 inch waist pants size since high school. Even at my heaviest, the 34's fit in the waist. It was just a matter of how much was hanging over it. About a year ago I was able to replace them with 32's. Today my wife brought me a pair of Levi 505s...30 inch waist. They fit perfectly. Happy Birthday to…

Bench press coming back
NSV: As I lost weight, my bench press dropped as well. Just worked back up to 3 sets of 6 reps at 200 pounds. Down from 245, but as a percentage of body weight, it's actually more.

Cold
I apologize if this has appeared here before. I have always been very warm-blooded. I was warm when it was 55-degrees out. I would sweat when I brushed my teeth in the morning. Always warm. Until now. Having lost a bit of weight, I find I am now always cold. Freezing, in fact. Others look comfortable, but I am cold. Is…

Somewhat astounded...
106 days...lost 40 pounds. Wanted to lose some weight for a while, but was basically trying to do it through exercise only. I ran 15-20 miles per week and lift twice a week. Didn't lose anything. My brother in law hooked me up with MFP and apparently seeing the cold, hard calorie information was enough to motivate me to…

Did it.
Started with MFP on 4/28/13 with the idea of getting down to 175. My brother-in-law said he used it and had lost some weight. That would put me at what I weighed when I graduated from high school (32 years ago). As of this morning...did it! Readjusted goals down to losing 1/2 pound per week. Maybe another 5?…
