first time jogger, starting tomorrow.
i've jogged on and off in the past, but nothing serious enough to actually call myself a "jogger." i plan on following a less intense version of the hiit program and doing it 3 or 4 times a week, and maybe some light jogging for the other few days. any suggestions for a jogging newbie?

i don't get it!
i've been working out consistently for at least 45 minutes 5 days a week, i'm eating under my calories every day... and yet the scale says i've gained one pound. what am i doing wrong?

i ate ice cream today.
a very close family friend came into town, and there's this ice cream shop in town that is very well-known and everyone loves to go to -- he really wanted to go, so we went! it was great at the time, but now i'm way over on sugar. how do i compensate?

i'm looking into becoming either vegan or vegetarian -- more for my health than for weight loss -- and i'm wondering if any vegans or vegetarians had any tips, or comments, or anything i should know. :) thanks!
