Cheat day good or bad?
I u derstand the body needs change in order to see results. I have been eating 1200 cal day all week except for Fri. This is my cheat day where I consume around 1600 cal to rev up my metabolism. I know it is only 10 pounds, but....
I am 41, 5'7 and weigh 144. I began a 1200 cal/day diet about 3.5 weeks ago. I have lost only 4 pounds!! I diligently record everything I eat, I do 30 min per day exercise video(I am NOT in shape) and the MFP says I should be losing about 2 pounds per week based on this. I do not compensate by adding extra calories either…

Newbie to mfp
How do you all feel about cheat days? Think they re-ignite your metabolism? I have been on 1200 cal/day diet for 3.5 weeks and losing but, feeling deprived... Took cheat day today but, ate 1800 cal total. My maintenance is supposed to be at 1750 cal/day.. Wonder if this will stunt my progress?
