Back again and need lots of help
Hello everyone, I am back to MFP for the umpteenth time and need some friends for encouragement and accountability. I will be turning 50 this year, have high blood pressure, heart disease, am pre-diabetic, and have chronic fatigue syndrome. I have now learned I am an emotional eater so with all the health issues which…

Anyone with hypothyroidism?
I was diagnosed a year ago with hypothyroidism and am now trying to shed the 30 pounds I packed on. Is it true this condition makes it incredibly hard to lose weight? I would love to hear from people with this diagnosis that have been successful and what your stragies were. Thanks!

I'm stuck
I have been with MFP consistently since Jan 1. I have done well thus far but seem to be stuck. I have read all the posts about making sure I'm eating my exercise calories, being honest on my calorie count, etc. I have done ALL those things and the scale still isn't moving. MFP has me on 1200 calories per day but I reduced…

BMR vs goals
I calculated my BMR at 1403. On the goals page it says I burn 1750 calories from normal activity. Why the discrepancy and is there a way to change the number on the goals page?

Is this normal?
I was losing 2 pounds a week including my weigh in on Monday. Today I weighed and have a 3 pound gain. I drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water daily and am on a diuretic so I don't think it's fluid retention. I did go off the plan for a couple days last weekend while on vacation but still exercised and have exercised since…
