I calculated my BMR at 1403. On the goals page it says I burn 1750 calories from normal activity. Why the discrepancy and is there a way to change the number on the goals page?

Your BMR is the amount of calories your body would burn if you laid in bed all day. I'm guessing you do NOT do that?! When you set up a profile on here it asks you how active you, dependant upon what you said, it's calculated the amount of calories you burn a day eg sitting at a desk and generally living.
Does that make sense?0 -

Yes it does. And no, I don't lay in bed all day though I do have that fantasy! Thanks for the explanation0 -
