Mental Games...
Running is and always has been a mental game for me. I hate it that I can run 5.7 miles in 52 minutes at a 9 min/mi pace with just one 5 min. walk... (so run pace may have been faster) and be just fine, but on race day I become weak minded and have to take 2 walk breaks and I finish in 32 minutes... for 3.1 miles. Anybody…

Getting Nervous!!!
My first "official" 5k in 8 years is just 3 weeks and 2 days away!! YIKES. I know I've got the mileage down, I am just hoping for a respectable time. Hopefully less than my average time when I ran cross country in highschool.

Goal Weight- Calculate yours!!!

Pet Peeve
It drives me crazy when people say "muscle weighs more than fat." No it doesn't a pound is a pound!!!! Yes, by volume muscle weighs more than fat, that is why when you start to tone up you lose inches, but not necessarily pounds. Sorry... just a little pet peeve of mine.
