I have not stepped on the scale in 8 full days!! This is huge for me as I was getting on it 1-2x a day... sometimes even more. I was getting frustrated with it, and finally told myself NO MORE!! Some people suggested having somebody hide it, or putting it in the trunk of my car so it wouldn't be there to tempt me. I thought about it, but it sits right where it was before on my bathroom floor. I am going to try for a monthly weigh in vs weekly and see how that goes.

    Wahoo! Congrats on the victory - that is a tough one. It's a love/hate relationship with that stupid scale, isn't it?

    It certainly is! And lately it's been more of a hate! haha.. that is why I had to "let it go" :wink: at least for now!!

    The scale is a tool.......not a test.

    I usually weigh 2 times a week just to see if I am showing any progress and if not, adjust exercise or food intake accordingly. However, I only record my weight loss one day a week because daily scale flucuations can drive a person crazy. The scale can rule your life and mess with your head if you let it, so good for you for not letting it do so!!!!
