Protein Shake Brands to watch out for.
This just came over my FB page. It's why I always buy organic and fair trade powders. https://www.consumerreports.org/dietary-supplements/heavy-metals-in-protein-supplements/

Fitness Watches Questions
Hi. Just dug out my HR watch and found out it died. It was only 5 years old, and only $12.00, so I can't really see putting in a new battery (even if I knew how, which I don't). What are some watches people have had success with? I know there's a lot out there. I would also like to hear from Apple Watch owners, are they…

Exasperation with meal planning...can someone tell me how to fit 3 meals into 1200 calories?
I see all these things on meal planning, they only serve to make me edgy. What the heck are people eating on these meal plans? They sound like far too much work for a nibble, which is how I view 300 calories. That's a nibble, not a meal! Lawdy. I can exceed 1200 calories by just eating once per day.....which makes me…

I have all these tools and still.......don't succeed.........
I am very fortunate that I have a supportive partner, and a gazillion tools at my disposal but still can't seem to succeed........I am making these discussion posts because I'd be interested in hearing from other peeps who do the same types/styles of exercise and have trouble succeeding. I do a LOT of self-isolating…

Feedback requested on feelings of resentment......
I am a 57 year old woman, who is short (with a 26" inseam, if that tells you anything), physically disabled, and limited on how many times per week, I can exercise. This is due to said disability, which gets triggered if I even do just a little bit too much, whereupon, I have to rest for 3 days to get the pain threshold…

re: negativity
If someone tells you that you are putting too much peanut butter on your bread, drop them. Who needs that sort of negativity in their life?

Seaweed for hunger pains.
Just realized that I had a bunch of agar-agar in my cupboard and had forgotten it's what I used when I lost weight before, to deal with hunger pains. It sounds really complicated, but basically, you just put a teaspoon into a pan with 1/2 cup of cold water in it. Turn the burner on high, until it starts to simmer, turn the…

Calories Question.
Um, okay, I've read a bunch of posts about the various and many ways that MFP figures out calories. Unfortunately, it seems to be much more then 30% OFF. It's got my daily total at 2350 (and that's after I set it up to lose 1 pound a week). I've NEVER been able to eat that much, without feeling just awful. MFP started me…

re: Fitbit One vs. Polar Question.
So.........I was just reading the very long forum post about the polar 300x HRM and Exercise watch. It turns out that most of them are off, quite a lot, especially for females. I use the FITBIT one, which was supposed to be the easiest appliance to use, as well as the easiest one to forget about (both true, so far). I am…
