vivofit 2
Does anyone have a vivofit 2? How accurate is it for you? My steps seem to be really off, it seems to be adding quite a few more than i am actually walking

I am a quitter
Kinda, I quit our office's 'biggest loser' contest, right before it started, I had lost 10 lbs, and it came off pretty easily. As soon as the contest starts, I gain back and lose the same 3lbs. EVERY time I join one of these stupid things the same thing happens. If I do it 'alone' I seem to do MUCH better, but the pot was…

flavored water packets
Can the flavored water packets cause someone to retain water? I have had to use water pills (prescribed, don't worry) for 4 days in a row and am just now finally starting to feel better, the only things that were different were flavored water (only like 2 bottles out of 5 daily) and antibiotics/advil for a bad tooth. I am…

"Halo/cutie' calorie count
Ok, so this is a petty question, and the only reason I am even asking it is because I am bored at work. I was looking up calories for oranges and clementines today, a medium sized orange is 70 calories from what I can find...but I small clementine (Halo is what I buy), which is like almost a quarter of the size of an…

does MFP have a 'week view'?
I am still in limbo over which calorie counter I like the best, between lose it and MFP. They are so different and each of pros and cons. So far MFP is winning because I like that I can see micros without paying (loseit allows protein and carbs and that is it) and I LOVE the giant food base, but I like loseit because of…

spark people vs MFP
Just curious, I used to use spark people religiously and lost almost 80lbs. I have gained that all back and am now trying to decide if I like MFP or SP better and which one most suits my current needs and lifestyle. What concerns me is the difference in calories. MFP is allowing 1820 and SP is allowing 1200-1600...that is…

fitbit calories added...how?
I need someone to dumb this down for me as I have read the other posts and I thought had it all figured out, but apparently not. My account is set to sedentary My 'normal calories burned' is 2510 My calorie allotment is 1500 I wear a fitbit and THOUGHT that when it registered I had burned the 2510 calories anything above…

calories burned
MFP automatically gives us a deficit to lose a certain amount of weight a week, (2 lbs for me), so when we burn extra calories (and don't eat all of them back), that is just extra on top correct? So, in theory, you could lose more then 2 lbs/week (not that i want to, slow and steady wins the race), I just want to make sure…
