Does anyone seem shocked by the calorie count of basic maki (salmon, tuna, yam)- about 130-160 for 6 pieces based on the database..... It seems too good to be true... thoughts?

PC organic rice (Canada)
Hello all, I am very confused about how to count President's Choice organics rice. On the package it says 180cal for 50 g or 1/4 cup . It does not say if this means cooked or uncooked. I decided to measure 1/4 cup cooked- came out to about 46 g and 1/4 dry- came out to about 40 g. On the iphone app is says 180 cal for 1/4…

Experiment
For the first month, I only really counted calories and it worked fairly well... but to switch things up this week I'm going to try and stick to MFP goals for sugar and carbs.... stay tuned!

Looking back at my diary, I am consistently over my sugar allowance by a lot. Has anyone seen better results when decreasing sugar to their goal or below?? Think I might try working on this...

cardio machines
What machines at the gym do people like using? I find it's easy to burn calories quickly on the eliptical but my toes go a bit funny after awhile from the pressure of this motion. Does anyone else get this? It doesn't happen on any othre machine I use. :)
