High Intensity Training: From Running Shoes to CrossFit Shoes
I have been doing CrossFit and other intense exercises for nearly two years with a Brooks running shoes. It's very comfortable because of it's thick padding although it's not a good fit for swift movements and burpees (too slippery). Recently I thought I'd get myself a speciality shoes since I'm not doing any running.…

Just had my moles excised, is there any exercise I can do without causing pressure on the tight?
I had 2 moles on my right tight by the ellipse excision method. The stitches will be removed in 10 days and the doctor told me that I shouldn't do any exercise in 7 days as the sweat might irritate the skin and worse it might stretch or break the suture. I'm used to going to the gym everyday and I think 7 days is a bit too…

Invisalign Treatment: Bad Eating Habit. Please help?
Before the treatment, I had been eating 5 small meals a day. I have a semi-active lifestyle (desk job for 3 days a week and stunt water sports for another 3 days a week) and ate clean. Since then, I'm eating 2 large meals a day (or 3, if I'm lucky). I'm reluctant to bring toothbrush whenever I go and I don't think…

Heart rate monitor or fitness band? What are their purposes?
I have the Polar FT4, I hate the fact that they often slip even when I walk at normal pace and it's a bit frustrating having to water them before using it (sometimes the hr would stop working in the mid of my exercise). Lately I have been looking at the Fitbit One, it seems like the perfect choice for me. I wonder if they…

I bought 2 packs of Muller low fat yoghurt (4x120g each) and just realised that it contains aspartame and acesulfame k (consists of carcinogen methylene chloride) when I reached home. Took it back to the supermarket and they won't allow me to exchange it as the policy states that frozen food should be exchanged within 15…

REFORMED meat and FORMED meat
I was looking at Subway's nutrition fact and it says that it's turkey breast is a reformed meat whereas it's ham is a formed meat. What is the difference between REFORMED meat and FORMED meat? Are they unhealthy? How do they differ from 'processed meat'?

POLAR FT4: How often do you have to wet the electrodes?
How can I use it for a long hour walk? Do you have to keep the electrode wet ALL the time? It's hard to sweat at this weather unless I'm wearing 4-5 layers of clothing. Today I walked for 4 hours at a speed of 3.5mph and I hardly sweat at all.
