Invisalign Treatment: Bad Eating Habit. Please help?

Before the treatment, I had been eating 5 small meals a day. I have a semi-active lifestyle (desk job for 3 days a week and stunt water sports for another 3 days a week) and ate clean.
Since then, I'm eating 2 large meals a day (or 3, if I'm lucky). I'm reluctant to bring toothbrush whenever I go and I don't think mouthwash is hygienic enough to keep my teeth (worried about developing cavities) and denture clean, so I eat in the morning and in the evening only at home for most of the time. Occasionally I'd feel very starved that I ended up eating a pot of ice cream or a huge bag of potato crisp.
I'm currently on my second tray and I'm unhappy with my eating habit. I don't see any significant difference in my fitness performance, yet. However I'm concerned if this habit is going to wreck my metabolism in the long run?

Nothing wrong with eating your calories in larger portions so long as you're still eating the right number of calories. One guy on here wrote about how well it worked for him to do one meal per day and he lost over 100 lbs. Calories in vs calories out - space them out however works best for you so that you can maintain long term. I wouldn't be so worried about carrying a toothbrush either. I have one at work and one at home and zero cavities No one at work has said a word, even when they walk in on me flossing after lunch LOL0

As long as you are reaching your calorie goal it makes no difference when you eat0

I'm another 'toothbrush at work' person and I also have floss in my desk... I try to do it when nobody's around but it's important enough so I get 'er done.0
