I broke my ankle in July and was in a cast (non weight bearing) for 8 weeks. Now Im off the cast and working hard to get back into shape. But it is soooooooo painful. Im doing about 5 mins on the elliptical and 15 on a recumbent bike. And about 45 mins of weights. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had to recover…

I have been doing 1200 cals a day and exercising 5 days a week, 45 mins of cardio and weights and at then end of the week I gained 2 pounds! I have been vigilant about calories and exercise and Im so disappointed, what am I doing wrong?
