calculating calories in a meal?
hi! there's a TGIF about 3 miles from my house, one way. Walked there today and got: chicken noodle soup (250) w 1/2 Turkey'n'Swiss sandwich w fries. The total online calc of the second part is: 540 calories. I didn't have 1/2 the fries, left 1 bread slice uneaten, and had it with no cheese. Can someone help me calculate…

What's the biggest food mistake you used to make?
For example: I wouldn't eat all day long then my sister would take me to five guys. I would have a cajun fries and veggie burger (thinking you know, veggies=good) wrong; 1500 calories right there. My entire day's calories in one meal. Never stepping foot in there ever again.

I believe it's open to the MFP members; I "should" be eating around 2000 calories to lose weight, but I am at 1450 right now. How much should one vary calories?
I feel that I vary my calories too extremely. I go from 1750-1500-1450-600/400 in a period of 2 weeks. I do it half consciously as sometimes my appetite just isn't there whereas on other days, it's large and in charge. Different calorie burning rates?
I did 45 minutes of the elliptical today; MFP says I burned 583 calories, the machine said 434, and an online calculator that tells you calories lost "based on your weight" says 787. So...should I just input the MFP calorie deficit?

Hey everyone! I'm wondering, what are goo sodium/sugar levels to keep under to maximize weight loss?I currently try to do under/at 30 grams of sugar per day (usually through fruits/greek yogurts but half to coffees :/ ).
