Low Carb high fat & Muscle Loss
Hi everyone, just had a question for any other doing LCHF dieting. I am eating under 100 grams of carbs or under per day and have lost approx 9 lbs in 14 days. Unfortunately I have been getting some negative comments regarding my weight loss not being sustainable due to how "extreme" some people think low carb is. I am…

Just a general question, how long after you changed your eating did you start noticing a change in clothing and the scale? I know the general…

Running fatigue?
Hello everyone, just inquiring about runner's fatigue. I haven't been running to heavily or too fast for that matter but I notice I never experience "runners high" or a burst of energy. I normally feel fatigued after a moderate run and I'm concerned due to the fact I will be running a 5k as of June 5th 2016 and I need to…

Running for weight loss?
I am reading so much contradiction information online so I'd figure I'd ask people who may know. Is it possible with appropriate calorie restriction to lose weight running. Keeping in mind I would increase distance+ intensity. I have about 30 lbs to go and I really love to run but don't wanna waste time if more is needed.

I am kind of confused about meal prep. I have never done it myself and I need some help. People prep their meals normally on Sunday's. I guess my question is, does meat like chicken or eggs or beans, vegetables actually stay good in the fridge for five days? Since my husband and I are busy and sometimes don't have the time…

2010- 2014- 125 lbs gone. Thank you MFP!
I have to give a big thank-you to My Fitness Pal for setting me on the right path. In May 2010, I decided that my large achy body had to change and that I needed to change my life for the better. I was 330 pounds, with no idea how I got there, and no idea how to start my weight loss journey. After a friend suggested MFP, i…

Weight gain after workouts?
So I have been incorporating some sprinting into my workouts. I hear that it is an amazing form of HIIT and more effective than a simple jog (which I do as well). My weight loss has pretty much slowed right down, I have been on this path for 4.5 years and have lost 125 lbs in total. Unfortunately I am still hovering at…
