Dating and weightloss/recomp
I'm single and in my late 20's, living in a lovely metroplitan area. I'm typically high protein high fat, HIIT lift, allthethingz outside. Most of the times I'm SO OVER dating, but right now I'm into it and its been fun. When I say dating I don't mean "I have a boyfriend and he makes me eat bad." I mean "I am meeting NEW…

Open vs. closed diaries
I am noticing that I have friends with open diaries, friends with closed diaries, and friends who have their diaries open sometimes, and closed other times. Right now my diary is open. My question for you all, is, what motivates you to keep your diary open? Does it scare you or make you feel uncomfortable that people may…

How to use forums to build yourself a supportive friend community
I logged on MFP for a long time before I ever made any friends here. I had never been a part of an online community before, and just wasn't sure about it. Do you weigh your pasta/rice/quinoa dry or cooked? Do you weigh your chicken/meat raw or cooked? Vegetables? Let me know! Also- favourite scales under…

fatalistic attitude in group settings; holiday parties
I tend to get this fatalistic attitude at parties. My comfort zone is to eat at home, or maybe I'll go out with a friend. I am super social but something about being in crowds of people gives me this fatalistic attitude like "I might as well eat all the things!" I don't know if I feel like maybe I've lost accountability in…

Logging exercise/Eating exercise
I don't log my exercise - and I figure that is ok because I don't eat my exercise calories back. However, tonight for example- I am going out with friends and think I might be a LITTLE bit over (I hate to see that red..)so I was thinking about logging my exercise calories so I could stay in the green....silly eh? However,…
