Salt pills, anyone?
Just wondering if anyone takes salt pills to get their sodium? I'm only 7 weeks in and I'm getting tired of boullion broth. I've tried eating straight salt when I don't have time for a cup of broth, but that's not the most palatable method. Any ideas?

New scale makes me very happy!
I just bought a new Eat Smart body fat scale to replace my old Tanita, which never worked, and it turns out I overestimated my BF% by about 6%. Happy news, but now I have to redo my macros! Lol I know they're not 100% accurate, but if it's anywhere close I'll take it. I needed some good news today.

okay, one more time... net carbs or total carbs?
I started out doing Atkins, counting my net carbs. But the more I've read about the Atkins program versus LCHF, I've decided I want to transition more to the LCHF. Mainly because Atkins tells me to add carbs back to increase my calories in once I reach maintenance, whereas LCHF tells me to add more fat. Carbs got me into…

Found my missing appetite in the hospital cafeteria, of all places
I've had absolutely no appetite this past week, struggling every day to break 1000 calories. Then today for lunch I just couldn't stomach what I brought from home, so I stopped by the cafeteria and got 2 cheeseburger patties. Appetite came roaring back! This woe is so strange sometimes, but I like it. ;)

What do you do on those days when you reaaally want to cheat?
I have those days at least once a week where I just really want off the wagon. Usually work-related stress, and the old me would've stopped by the store on the way home and made a big batch of nachos to binge on the rest of the night. Well, either that or stop by the liquor store for a bottle of wine, half of which would…

What can I put Alfredo sauce on?
I made a big batch of Alfredo sauce last week and promptly forgot I had it. Any ideas for stuff I can pair it with before it goes bad? I'm not a huge fan of chicken, and pasta is out, of course. So what do you guys do with it?

What do you pair burgers with?
I've had a mean craving for bacon cheeseburgers lately, which I would normally eat with lots of ketchup, but that is of course too sugary for LCHF. Those of you who eat burgers, what do you normally pair them with that's low carb friendly?

Primal egg coffee... holy cow!
Trying my first primal (whole) egg bulletproof coffee this a.m., and I gotta say- holy cow, this is good. Who would've though that junk food junkie me would enjoy things like this? Is amazing what kinds of stuff your body starts craving when you cut out all the junk!

What do you eat for breakfast?
I've been doing lchf for a couple of weeks now and I'm struggling with what to eat for breakfast. I have to be at work 6:30 most days, and I'm never hungry that early so I fix my bulletproof coffee and bring it with me. I usually get hungry around 9, and I've been bringing lc wraps to eat while I work. They fill me up, but…

how much fat per day do you strive for?
I just recently switched to Atkins and am wondering, how many grams of fat/percentage of total calories do you guys normally strive for per day? I'm still figuring out what kind of stuff I like to eat on this plan, and some days I get more fat than others. Now I seem to be transitioning more to lots of fish and steamed…

Do you eat your exercise calories?
I've just recently signed up after turning 40 and I'm wondering: Do you eat your exercise calories or not? I never did in the past on WW, but I also never worked out with any regularity either. Now I'm older, and I haven't worked out in over a year due to achilles tendonitis, so I'm slowly adding exercise back in, but I…

Are weekends or weekdays easier for you to stay on track?
I find weekends way easier to stay on track because I can take more time to prepare my meals and eat them fresh. During the week, since I prepare everything ahead of time and take it to work, I often find that in the middle of a stress-filled day I don't feel like eating microwaved food and I end up grabbing something…

No one else will understand my excitement
I just got my first steel competition-style KB in the mail yesterday! Suddenly all the exercises that just never felt completely right are making perfect sense to me now. I wish I'd discovered these existed years ago!

gloves or chalk?
I have settled into a good routine now, doing KB workouts 4-5 days a week. I am currently using gloves. Should I switch to chalk? What does everyone use, and why?

Frequency for a newbie?
I recently picked my KBs back up after not touching them for several years. What would you all recommend in terms of workout frequency? Should I shoot for every other day, or will I be better off with a daily workout? (add'l info- I'm also recovering from achilles tendonitis and I haven't exercised in almost a year.) Thanks!
