  • Haven’t been doing well on my August goals. A few days in I hurt my back (again) doing resistance band deadlifts (again). This has happened pretty much every time I’ve tried to do this program. I’m finally better and able to start working out again, so I’ll be skipping the deadlifts and dusting off my DB machine.

  • 3 for 3 yesterday. Went over on the calories today but still under on the carbs. I'm not stressing about it since I've been sick and my appetite's been weird. Today I felt like I'm getting better, listened to my body and ate what I felt like I needed. Hoping I'll be able to go for a run tomorrow!

  • @Lillith32 - I stocked up on UA this weekend, and it definitely helped. I got the long sleeved ones with the thumb holes. Still had cold fingers, but I did warm up eventually. Thanks for the tip!!
  • I'll have to check those out! My cotton tee isn't cutting it. I will be going to the outlet mall Saturday, so I'll hit the Underarmour store. And my hot tea hand warmer only lasted an hour. Joint commission is coming today so we had to get rid of our drinks. :(
  • Don't know how practical that would be, but it did give me an idea. Perhaps keeping a mug of hot tea with me as a hand warmer might work! Unfortunately, we only have cold water in my room. :(

  • I second Fitnessblender.com. And if you go through their Web site instead of YouTube, you can create an account, save your favorite videos, create a workout calendar, etc. Tons of stuff on every category. I love that there's no music, too, so I can play my own stuff in the background.
